<p>In Blogger, you can organize all your posts into different pages by adding labels to your posts. This way, your visitors can click on the available labels and find all posts related to that particular topic.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Adding labels to individual posts</h3>

<p>To add labels to individual, edit your post and click &#8220;Labels&#8221; under the &#8220;Post settings&#8221; area.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="681" height="364" src="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/add-labels-in-blogger-post.png" alt="blogger label in post settings" class="wp-image-1295" srcset="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/add-labels-in-blogger-post.png 681w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/add-labels-in-blogger-post-300x160.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 681px) 100vw, 681px" /></figure></div>

<p>Type the label that best describes your content. For example, if your post is about making pancakes, type the label <em>recipes</em> or <em>food</em>. You can enter multiple labels, just make sure that you separate the labels by commas.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="680" height="312" src="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/adding-labels-to-post-in-blogger.png" alt="adding labels to post in Blogger" class="wp-image-1297" srcset="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/adding-labels-to-post-in-blogger.png 680w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/adding-labels-to-post-in-blogger-300x138.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px" /></figure></div>

<p>Once you&#8217;re done, click the &#8220;Publish&#8221; or &#8220;Update&#8221; button on the upper right side of the post.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="678" height="303" src="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/publish-blogger-post.png" alt="publish Blogger post" class="wp-image-1298" srcset="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/publish-blogger-post.png 678w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/publish-blogger-post-300x134.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 678px) 100vw, 678px" /></figure></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Adding labels to multiple posts</h3>

<p>If you have many articles published on your blog, adding labels to individual posts may not be the best idea. Fortunately, you can tag posts from the same category straight from your dashboard.</p>

<p>Adding labels to multiple posts is really easy. All you have to do is to select the posts you want to add label to and click on the tag icon.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1279" height="497" src="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/new-label-in-blogger-posts.png" alt="blogger posts add label" class="wp-image-1300" srcset="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/new-label-in-blogger-posts.png 1279w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/new-label-in-blogger-posts-300x117.png 300w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/new-label-in-blogger-posts-1024x398.png 1024w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/new-label-in-blogger-posts-768x298.png 768w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1279px) 100vw, 1279px" /></figure></div>

<p>On the box that appears, type the label(s) you want on the &#8220;Add a label&#8221; field or select them from the list, then click &#8220;Apply&#8221;.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1279" height="516" src="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/label-to-multiple-posts-in-blogger.png" alt="enter new label field in blogger" class="wp-image-1302" srcset="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/label-to-multiple-posts-in-blogger.png 1279w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/label-to-multiple-posts-in-blogger-300x121.png 300w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/label-to-multiple-posts-in-blogger-1024x413.png 1024w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/label-to-multiple-posts-in-blogger-768x310.png 768w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1279px) 100vw, 1279px" /></figure></div>

<p>The labels should appear on the right side of the post titles.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1278" height="401" src="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/labels-in-blogger-dashboard.png" alt="" class="wp-image-1303" srcset="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/labels-in-blogger-dashboard.png 1278w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/labels-in-blogger-dashboard-300x94.png 300w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/labels-in-blogger-dashboard-1024x321.png 1024w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/labels-in-blogger-dashboard-768x241.png 768w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1278px) 100vw, 1278px" /></figure></div>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Important</h4>

<p>Proceed with caution when adding labels to your posts. This action will remove the label you wanted to add if the selected post is already tagged with it.</p>

<p>There are two types of post dates: the date that appears in the main post and the timestamp for the index posts. We can disable/enable these dates or change the date format with just a click.</p>

<p>1. Go to &#8216;Layout&#8217; and click &#8216;Edit&#8217; on the Blog Posts gadget:</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="754" height="233" src="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/edit-blogger-blog-posts.png" alt="edit blog posts in Blogger" class="wp-image-113" srcset="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/edit-blogger-blog-posts.png 754w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/edit-blogger-blog-posts-300x93.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 754px) 100vw, 754px" /></figure></div>

<p>2. On the window that opens you&#8217;ll see several options and settings. First setting is for the main post date (1) and below is for the timestamp format (2).</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="576" height="418" src="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/date-timestamp-blogger-settings.png" alt="post date settings in Blogger" class="wp-image-1383" srcset="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/date-timestamp-blogger-settings.png 576w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/date-timestamp-blogger-settings-300x218.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px" /></figure></div>

<p>3. To select the format, click on the drop down as shown below.</p>

<p>Note: Displaying post date is optional as most of the information. You can show only the main date and disable the index date. To hide the date, simply uncheck the box on the right.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="576" height="223" src="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/hide-blogger-post-date.png" alt="disable post date in blogger" class="wp-image-1386" srcset="https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/hide-blogger-post-date.png 576w, https://docs.themeshine.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/hide-blogger-post-date-300x116.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px" /></figure></div>

<p>4. To save the changes, click the &#8216;Save&#8217; button at the bottom of this window.</p>
