If you’re a food blogger, sharing your recipes in a clean and structured way is essential. Instead of typing everything manually, you can use the WP Recipe Maker plugin to create beautiful recipe cards with ease – no coding needed!
Step 1: Install WP Recipe Maker
- Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Click Plugins > Add New.
- Search for WP Recipe Maker, then click Install and Activate.
Step 2: Choose a Custom Recipe Template
Your theme comes with a matching recipe template to keep your design consistent.
- Go to WP Recipe Maker > Settings.
- Click on the Appearance tab, then open the Recipe Template section.
- Choose the ‘Themeshine’ template from the dropdown.
- Click Save Changes.

Do the same under the Print Template section so your print version looks just as nice.
Step 3: Create and Add a Recipe to a Post
You can build the recipe directly inside any blog post.
- Go to Posts > Add New (or edit a post).
- Click the “+” button and look for the WPRM Recipe block.
- Choose Create New Recipe or Insert Existing Recipe.
- Add all your recipe details: image, name, ingredients, steps, etc.
- Click Save & Close.

Step 4: Add “Jump to Recipe” and “Print” Buttons
To make it easier for visitors to find or print the recipe:
- Go to WP Recipe Maker > Settings.
- Under Appearance, click on Recipe Snippets.
- Pick ‘Snippet Themeshine Buttons‘ style from the dropdown.
- Click Save Changes.

Step 5: Add the Buttons to Your Post
Make sure your post already has a recipe added.
- Edit the post where the recipe is.
- At the top of the post, add the Recipe Snippet block.

That’s it! Now your visitors can view your recipe in a clean format, jump right to it, or print it out with just a click.
