Setting up the Email Subscribe Widget

FeedBurner has announced that it will no longer support email subscriptions as of July 2021. As FeedBurner powers Blogger’s FollowByEmail gadget, that will also will be turned off. We recommend using MailChimp. It’s easy to use, very user-friendly and offers the Free plan for up to 2,000 contacts and 10,000 emails per month.

Note: if you are using MailChimp for the first time, please follow this tutorial.

Setting up the Subscribe Widget

  1. To send your subscribers to your MailChimp site, get the embedded code on your MailChimp account.
  2. Copy the code snippet beginning with <form action=" as illustrated below:

  3. Log into your Blogger dashboard, go to Layout and click “Edit” on the “Newsletter” gadget.
  4. Replace ADD MAILCHIMP CODE HERE with the link you copied on step 2.
